‘Look Good, Feel Good’
If you are getting your life in order, starting a new career, looking for a new relationship or getting a better handle on whom you are meant to be; looking, and feeling, good are things you need do. ‘First impressions are lasting impressions’. The presentation, of ‘you’, helps others see your true potential. You are judged on what they see, and feel, about you. When starting over, personally or professionally, how you look has a large impact on how you feel about yourself.
Some of the easiest changes to make are to update your wardrobe, makeup and hairstyle. These simple changes will make you feel like a million bucks, affecting how you act and are viewed by others. The changes will improve how you carry yourself, what you think about yourself, and how others see you. You do not have to be ‘dressed to the nines’, ‘groomed to the hilt’, or look like you ‘walked out of a fashion magazine’; just look, and feel, better with a few easy, inexpensive changes.
I know you watch those ‘make over’ shows and think, ‘wow, I wish I could have that experience’, well you can. I can redo your wardrobe and make up, can even help you discover new and exciting clothes that fit you inside and out. (Sorry, I just can’t give you that $5,000 Visa card and I don’t do hair). Learn how to present yourself to the best of your ability. Wrong colors will make you look old, tired, frumpy, sick and drained. Wrong clothes make you look heavier, older, out of style and less professional but more importantly they make you feel terrible.
Even if your first impression is in print, many of the things people see are the same as if meeting you in person. When people first have contact with you; they consider neatness, if you are interesting, if you addressed them properly (or tried), if you care about your work or yourself. Presenting yourself in print is often the first step to a new job or career. The World Wide Web is now a chance to meet potential customers, clients, even friends. Modern ‘high tech’ dating means it may be the first impression of a potential partner. I help people write resumes, cover letters, biographies, ad copy and web copy; allowing them to make a great first impression. I have written award winning resumes and cover letters as well as many that have gotten friends and colleges some amazing jobs. I make these services available to you as part of my consultation services.
